Akut
In 2018, Akut made a sacred vow: to protect this magical land in Lagos and its ancient trees. As the founder of Cristaland, he is the guardian of a place that touches many hearts and nourishes many souls. Today, at over 70 years old, he enjoys the fruits of the seeds he once planted—lovingly nurtured by many helping hands.
Ananda & Aaron
Ananda and Aaron first set foot in Cristaland in 2022. A year later, they made a special decision: they became the first people in Cristaland’s history to stay long-term and actively support the project. They quickly became a driving force, shaping Cristaland into the vibrant community it is today.
Together, they ensure that everyone feels welcome and inspired. Their love, dedication, and creative energy shape this land. Currently, they are jointly responsible for volunteer management—in addition, Ananda oversees event management, while Aaron is in charge of kitchen management.
Daniela & Alex
After learning yoga in India and taking part in sacred jungle ceremonies in Peru, Daniela and Alex’s journey led them to Europe—searching for a community that aligned with their values. In 2023, they found Cristaland and decided to stay. Today, they are valued members of the leadership team, sharing their energy and open hearts with everyone.
Alex is responsible for project management, while Daniela takes care of marketing.
Robert
After spending years in Europe’s largest ashram and exploring various communities, Robert realized that Cristaland was his passion project. He manages guest relations, ensuring that everyone feels welcome and taken care of. But what truly makes Robert special? His laughter—loud, infectious, and full of joy.
Patrick
Patrick is a true visionary and a leader with heart and patience. At Cristaland, he leads project management, always keeping an overview and making sure projects are completed successfully. With his experience in many eco-communities, he brings a wealth of knowledge, creativity, and expertise in sustainable construction.
Marc
If wood in Cristaland could tell a story, it would speak through Marc’s hands. He loves building—not just large structures but also the smallest details that make a place special. His expertise? Woodworking. From furniture to large-scale upcycling projects, Marc breathes new life into old materials. His ability to transform wood into something new is simply magical.
Nora
Nora is a wild, creative soul—bursting with energy! She loves working with earth and clay, shaping structures with her hands while also leaving her artistic mark all over Cristaland. From hand-painted signs to murals, her creativity brings color and beauty to every corner of this land.
